Today is January 1, 2009! Ava and I slept until 1:00 PM. Chad had already gone to the store, and cooked black eye peas, cabbage, and bacon. It was a wonderful lunch. For dinner, we went to Fort Worth for some Chinese!
I spoke with my Dad earlier. He called to wish us a Happy New Year. When he was telling me bye, he said, "I Love You." (Those words just don't seem to come around as often, once you get older.) I just spoke to my Mom, who was in bed when my Dad called. She is sick with a virus, and had to cancel all her plans for today.
I am super tired from our party last night, but will try to set up my new computer after Logan and Ava have their baths.
