Potty Trained!

Ava is completely Potty Trained!

For about one month, she never mentioned she had to go, we just took her every thirty minutes, then moved down to every hour (or when we thought about taking her). Of course there were accidents along the way, but it's hard when you get occupied in other things and you don't know when she has to go (I blame myself).

We would venture out on small trips to the store or a restaurant, but I always packed the pink potty in the van. Sometimes we'd sit in the van for 10 or 15 minutes between stores, but she'd never go....I guess she felt odd (of course she did). Luckily, we only had two accidents while on a trip (and one was on a three hour drive coming from Kristi's house). I'm not complaining, things could have been worse.

As of April 27, Ava will tell us when she feels the need to go! (This makes easy SO much easier!) Over the last month, my 'baby' has transformed into a 'big girl'. We are so proud of her!
