Peter Piper Pizza.

Logan and Ava love pizza. I had a great surprise for both of them today. We were going to Peter Piper Pizza, where they would have the opportunity to tour the kitchen, then Logan would get to make his own pizza for lunch!

The Manager of Peter Piper came out to talk to the children, then instructed them to put their hands bahind their backs while on the tour. Sure enough, Logan had his hands perfectly positioned, just like the Manager demonstrated. The children toured the kitchen, had the chance to walk in the big refrigerator, then were brought into the 'dough room'. Afterwards, they washed their hands in preparation for pizza making.

Logan chose to make a ham pizza, with one pepperoni in the middle. (I didn't reserve a pizza for Ava, but she didn't mind....it was fun watching, too.) Logan, Ava and I sat down to eat a small salad and breadsticks (from the buffet) while waiting. About 10 minutes later, the pizzas were ready, and boy, was Logan excited!

Before we left, the children each received a certificate identifying themself as an official "Pizza Chef". According to Logan, "He can't wait to go back!"
