When I Grow Up.

Logan came up to me and said, "Mom, Ava wants to be a teacher when she grows up!" I told Logan that that is a good choice, and told him all the things teachers have to do. He walked away, and went back to tell Ava.

A minute later, he came back to me and said, "I want to be a Cowboy when I get fired from my first job." (Everyone knows he wants to be a Fireman when he grows up! He's said it for the past two years, it seems!) I asked him what his first job will be, when he gets older. He said, "A Fireman, remember?" (Oh yes, how could I forget!) I asked him why he thinks he would get fired from being a Fireman. His reply, "If I use a hose to spray water on a kitten when I was supposed to use my ladder, then they would fire me!"
